Waiting on a sunny day

Qualsiasi genere di musica si preferisca, è difficile rimanere indifferenti di fronte alla potenza espressiva e alla carica di passione e significati che trasmette Bruce Springsteen quando canta e scrive.
Chiunque abbia avuto la fortuna di poterlo ammirare in un concerto dal vivo - e io sono felice di poter dire di essere tra queste persone - sa perfettamente che la potenza del Boss non lascia indifferenti. In questi giorni festeggia 40 anni di onorata carriera, anni in cui non si è mai risparmiato e ha sempre voluto cantare e parlare di quello che succede intorno a lui....e a noi. Il Boss non è mai fuori tempo e fuori argomento;semplicemente perchè vive tra la gente.
Si potrebbe parlare e scrivere per ore della sua carriera e dei suoi album ma basterà citare un' episodio su tutti: poco dopo l' attacco alle Twin Towers nel 2001 il Boss uscì con il suo nuovo album "The Rising" e ovviamente l' intero lavoro rifletteva le sue sensazioni sul tragico fatto. Che cosa c è di strano? Tanto per iniziare, in un periodo di profondo sconforto intitola l' intero album "Risollevamento", rialzatevi gente!!E all'interno del disco di trova un meraviglioso inno alla speranza, di un' allegria contagiosa "Waiting n a sunny day". Anche oggi in questi tempi di crisi e di notizie di cronaca poco positive e confortanti il vecchio Spingsteen parte con un nuovo tour mondiale ed è ancora qui a cantare " Don't worry we are gonna find a way".

Whatever your favourite kind of music is, it is hard not to be amused caming across the tremendous passion and expressivity shown by Bruce Springsteen in his singing and writing.
Everyone who has had the occasion of seeing him live in a concert - and I'm glad to say I'm one of those people - knows that his charm does make an impact. In these days he is celebrating 40 yeras of career, years in which he has always sung about what was happening around him and...around us. The Boss is never out of time and topic;simply because he lives among the common people.
You could spend hours talking about his career and albums but it can be useful just to tell one episode: not long after the Twin Towers attack in 2001 The Boss came out with a new album "The Rising" and - obviously- the entire album was full of his reflection about this orrible fact. What's the point? Just to began, in a period of sadness he titles his album "Rising", rise up people!! In the album you can also find a beautiful tribute to hope, a tribute of a contagiuos joy "Waiting on a sunny day". Also today,, ia a period of crisis and of negative and non comforting news the old Spingsteen start a new world tour and he is still here singing "Don't worry we are gonna find a way".
